what tool to grind fuel pin?

so im looking to grind my fuel pin and was wondering what i can use to grind it. i was going to buy a 120grit flapwheel for my 4 1/4 grinder and jut go slow or is there something else i should use?

I used my dremel and a round grinding stone. Worked great. That fuel pin is hard so take your time.

so would using a grinder and one of them sanding flap wheels 120 grit be ok to use?

for finish, flap wheels or sanding discs, a dremel or die grinder will greatly speed up the ramp grinding

Your factory pin already has a steeper/deeper side to it that's not being used. Its not a lot, but it is more. Just throwing it out there in case you didn't know.

Also check with the local cnc/machine shops. I had a pin sloped for a gate which was very similar to the denny-t fuel pin. The slop on the pin was a stop basically. Anyways, they did it for $10 and it took a few minutes.

3 inch cut off tool works best by far. just plug it straight into the wall or clamp it in a vise then you have lots of control lightly gringing back and forth with the pin. Dip it in some water every now and then to keep it cool. Whole things takes about 2 minutes. Long as you grind lightly dont even have to clean it up with a flap wheel
