Question Fuel pin position after grind

Once you grind the fuel pin the ground side should be positioned toward the front correct? I know this may be a dumb ? but I figured I'd ask anyway. Also I seem to have picked up more noticable power increase after grinding my pin further along in my acceleration,it does come off the line stronger but seems to be even more noticable when moving up through 2nd to 3rd.Is this a normal occurance?

Deep side faces the front (radiator). It should give you more power throughout the whole rpm range.

That is normal. The turbo doesn't have time to build full boost until you lay the wood to it in third, that it goes like gang busters!
