From: A 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.
so do the 7/8" bore wheel cylinders help the rear wheels brakes "come on" faster because it takes less fluid to open them? Sorry if my terms are lame, i am no brake expert.

Thanks Faith. I can't have the Napa guys knowing me for the Lunatic I really am when it comes to this stuff; 'I want 7/8" bore Dodge wheel cylinders'....not going to be very productive. Now if I can tell them I want the cylinders from the 12x2 brakes I'm going to get the parts.
cheers,
Douglas

Nah...I want less rear brake and it is an area function; more wheel cylinder area the more force to push the shoes out against the drum. Pressure x Area = Force ( though it will be easier to work with if you keep the units consistent; I don't feel like working in kilogram-cubit-squared stuff ).

What I don't know is what the pressure per volume delivered curve looks like from the proportioning valve...if such even exists or if it works that way, so to speak.
cheers,
Douglas
