Mid size wheel cylinder part number?

I put Chevy one ton wheel cylinders on my truck about 4years ago. The part number is 37337. The rear wheel braking is too strong. I tried adjusting the brakes loose to compensate but I wasn't happy with the results. Is there a wheel cylinder hat is in between the stock Dodge cylinders and he Chevy one tons that I have on the truck now? If so would you mind posting a part number?

Next size down is the Dodge one ton.
Starting in '97 both the 3/4 and one tons had the bigger cylinders.
You'll be going back where you started.

There have been very few people with the same problem you're experiencing, all have been traced back to other problems that are compounded by the bigger cylinders but not caused by them.

Would that be the 37290 (NAPA #)? That's a 1-1/16" bore, and supposedly the same line thread size (3/8-24) as the original cylinders (#37985). I tried the 37290 a few weeks ago on my '96 and couldn't get the line/flare nuts to start. I finally had to go back to the original 37985 cylinders.

Why does the Chevy One Ton wheel cyclinder work so much better than the OME?

The larger diameter translates into more force applied to the shoes. I think it's the same law of physics where the longer a cheater bar (lever) the more the force is multiplied.
For '94-'96 2500s it's 52% more force.
For all 3500s and '97 plus 2500s it's 24% more.
