Hooked up the power to the in tank pump. Cranked it, cranked it, cranked it. Let it sit started my oil change on the '97 Lesabre. Cranked it some more, cranked it some more and it finally fired up. Let it idle for 20+ minutes. Set the parking brake put it in neutral to wet the seals up. Released the parking brake and the handle broke in the process. Yippee another thing to fix! Noticed the fuel gauge isn't working, oil pressure gauge either. WoooHooo! more crap to fix!!

Yep, but way cheaper than a new truck payment - and WAY cooler.
This global warming stuff is really starting to P!$$ me off. Today it got up to 60 and yesterday was even warmer. Then today it was a cold rain and we have snow off to the west and the temp is falling fast. Algore, Greta and JohnK have a lot of reckoning to answer for.

We bought a 10 KW genset and wired the house to connect to it. If power goes out I just roll the genset out and connect propane and the power cord and everything works again. It's enough to even run the HVAC!
I live off grid, probably will never be able to get "county" power in my lifetime. I have to drive to town and discover if there is an outage LOL. 10kw is a big gen though! I have built a wood gasifier and plan on hooking it to a 20kw for my shop. Also got a 24hp steam motor for a future project.
Repaired chaffed wire at ASD relay. Was rubbing on the hood hinge spring end, and missing it's coating.
Got the window switch apart, and found that the fuse panel all of a sudden has power in all the spots. Disassembled the fusable links mess to access the fuses I replaced the duckfoot with years ago. At least now if something happens again, I can quickly access the mess.
Today, I'll be delivering a door system to the powder coating company, and picking up a recently done door for my customer.
Cut the grass and weeds for 2nd time this season down here in SE Texas!
Ive got at least 4' of standing snow on my property still even though it's been warming up to +5*C last few days, but it then drops to -10 to -15*C at night. Will probably be late may or early June before I mow the lawn for the first time. Last year I think I mowed my lawn maybe 3 or 4 times for the entire season.
I washed my truck. The snow is almost gone so I thought I’d spray off some of winters salt with the bi annual washing of the truck. Although the 12 valve is pretty good at self rust proofing…. Trying to build up ambition for installing new floor pans and Killmat through the whole interior to quiet her down a bit. I’m going to do doors, firewall, floor, back of cab. I don’t have a headliner so I won’t do the roof. Not sure if that was even an option in 74.
I have never had any headliner in all the '72-'85 Dodge trucks and Ramcharger I have owned.
I have also removed it from some of my '89-'98 Dodge trucks. I don't find that it does much for me.
the only reason I’d install one, is more sound deadening. This is my daily and it’s not uncommon to do a 500 mile drive home to visit. Some quiet would be ok….
I have resorted to wearing ear plugs on some long road trips in some of my 1st gens before.
Poncho, my '91.0, with the exhaust it came with when I bought it was LOUD. 3 inch pipe from turbo back to a pre rear wheel dump and no muffler. My daughter and I both wore ear plugs for a bunch of the ride to Carlisle car show in it 8 years ago. That drive is about 500 mile each way.
I have since added a complete 4 inch Diamond Eye exhaust with the tip behind the rear wheel. IIRC I added a muffler too.
It is a lot quieter now.
A smaller diameter exhaust system is actually louder. So depending on what you have for an exhaust that might help you a bunch too.
I have 4” to a Donaldson muffler. It’s pretty quiet as far as exhaust goes. It’s engine and road noise. I have a pretty good audio setup, but sometimes quiet is nice. I also need to work on the squeaks and rattles of a 50 year old truck.
