Busy weekend, Built the headlight harness to the instructions in Jim Lanes thread from way back. After installation of that setup, I removed all the cobbled wire harness hack jobs that had been done in the past. Some I will admit to but most were from PO. I installed a new...old...dash I had from my original parts truck from years back, last weekend so I had an idea what what was hidden up in there at this point. Restored the truck back to stock wiring with quality well routed harness then did the relay setup as described above. I had burned up at least 3 switches and melted the plug end some time back and had individual spaf connectors on the wires to the switch for the last several years. Changed all that old stuff and did the relay setup over with the right stuff. Getting ready to hookup the trailer brakes and 7 pin hitch from scratch and take my time and not half *** it. Being in a hurry is sometimes born of necessity but I am under no deadline between work and getting ready for hunting season. Hopefully wont be on the side of the road sticking on any band aids anytime soon because i am taking my time and doing it right the first time.

My daughter and I dug out the big white crew cab we call the Vanilla Gorilla last week. Over the past couple of nights I have had the time to clean it up and check a few fluids. The dogs where super excited to see me working on it, as they know it is basically the Dog Limo around here.
Today we took it out to town to run a few errands. The dogs where loving sitting in the back seat with their heads out the window smelling the spring air. I was just happy to be driving it again on a sunny day.
It has been 6 months since I drove a 4.10 geared Cummins truck, even with the 37s, I shift through the gears pretty quickly.

Looks good that’s something I wish I had the smarts to do but I could read and watch videos all day and don’t think I could do it.Now did you put bigger or heavier duty clutches in it I know when my 91 trans went out a place in Indiana made a heavy duty one

Yes heavy duty rebuild kit with one extra clutch and steel in the direct clutch. Also Transgo shift kit with low stall TC.
Should be able to withstand 425 HP, but I'll never reach that.
Yes that's a very old cat. Around 18 years. She likes to help me work on the truck.

Hey sheep herder ! We need you to come out East and herd all these sheeple wearing face masks, and drive the herd into the ocean. Would free up a lot of space.
Nice tortoise shell calico. We've had as few of those over the years.
