What did you do to your Gen 1 today?

Recent new spinny-things (smoked trans). New/custom 49RH trans. Getting ready for an upcoming dyno session, rolling along at 35mph, in OD with the converter locked, ride the brakes and build 25psig boost then, launch. Then it went to stomping.
The engine still started/ran just fine. No oil pressure (pump's good but has a broken mounting flange). Stomping hard one one cylinder. The stomp intensity follows the throttle.

Got my Alternator finished and installed today. Needed a new rotor and I had them install an internal regulator. Hopefully the internal regulator is more reliable than the 4 different external regs Ive replaced in 5 years.

Bought new, 12 years raising three young'uns/life (stock). Then 15 years starting with a 3200 spring, ending with triple turbos. Do the math.

Pulled the axle shafts last night since Pass side had no end play in the hub bearings and was running 5-10*deg hotter then the other side, not sure how that happened after my last brake/hub/seal service but it did. So reset both sides and crawled under neath looking for culprits for my driveline noise/vibration, well it to be Fair amount of play in one cup on the axle U-joint, little bit on the U-joint at the transfercase and the carrier bearing appears to be going south as well. I greased everything up for now but guess 6 years and 115K km's it's time for driveline servicing.

Why isn't the government doing something?! We could all be dead within 12 years!

Well I've heard it's become more scarce and rare out west, so anyone fearing dihydrogen monoxide could move out there, or Australia maybe?
We received an atmospheric dusting of the solid form last week and the concern was so great that it shut down the school system all day.
