Not only did I get the LEDs in, but I swapped in a less-broken heater control. Lubed up the flapper door hinges too.
While I had the bezel off, stuffed in an old Bluetooth deck I had kicking around.

Amazon stuff...
The current draw ended up less than the sealed beams, so I'm saving the relay harness for future, or another truck.

U2slow - Were those LEDs plug and play or did you need to modify some? I think those are the same ones others on here have.
And you have green grass up there right now?!?

Yes, grass is green. Daffodil season too.

been getting beat up trying to get the fan off the clutch. I just done have the right tools in my garage. So before I go and remove the fan hub off the block, is there anything I should expect? Any gaskets or coolant passages behind there? Want to get the dowel pin wrapped up and move on.

You do know that the clutch fan nut you are trying to remove is reverse rotation..Right?

I have removed the fan hub before when a clutch fan was being stubborn. There is a freeze plug behind there, but you can remove the hub with the fan on it and install it if needed as a whole unit.

Thanks for the info, if I cant break the nut loose i'll just pull the hub assembly.

I found the limit of my 27 year old, 295,502 mile block . . .
Lower/left gear-case mount (ignore the green) . . . .
Front block main-bearing webbing . . .
Lube-oil pump recess in the block . .
From that in the oil-pump recess, all the way back to the turbo oil return port . . .
I think the crankshaft is broken as well (12mm VE/triple S362sxe).
oops.
