I do not test or install ANY electrical this truck without inline fusing.
Ah....

The wife...

You're a smart man, my friend. I make my wife live with the stock dodge seats, albeit they are very comfortable, IMO. She doesn't, but then she doesn't get in the truck very often anyway.

NJTman - I noticed that you are using P/N 45B0022 (for 72 -74 W series), but there is also P/N 45B0031 (for 75 - 77 W series). Is there an advantage using one versus the other?
If the parts spec out to be the same length, and sized joints on the ends, the difference is the part you quote is bent slightly, vs straight like mine, which I would assume is to accommodate a truck that has a taller lift than stock +4". My truck was built using 3" taller springs in the front and back, but has since settled downwards. No issues using the straight version, which is what I believe most of the guys who are running the RR steering gear use.

I have 4 dogs, and an unknown number of cats. Last year, when my wife's mom died, we inherited her cats. Cats are okay, as I've always had them since I was a kid. They're just so much more destructive than dogs.....

UGH.....

I haven’t really done anything to my truck lately. 12-18 hour work days, almost everyday, trying to save the world it seems like. Hope to get my new hitch installed this weekend and check clearances for mounting the AC compressor, followed by packing up some moving boxes. I’ll be 35 years young in the morning, but I feel like I’m turning 75 “I’ll sleep when I’m dead”

Sure you can. Do you fit in the extended portion of my cab, along with 4 dogs, a tool box, and a bunch of dog pillows? I hope you like blueberry muffins, as the Wawa donuts they used to get are a bit too greasy for their little beagle bellies...

Another April birthday. Think you feel Lary old now? Wait till you hit 51, like I did the other day. I hear our Lary has one this week too ! Too bad were all over the country, as a beer would help celebrate our "days"

Over the winter my hood started to raise...or body started to drop? I saw this and put some thought into it....clearly not very high quality thought......and couldn't figure out why my hood was sticking up. Well I may be a bit slow, but eventually I figure most things out. Turns out it was the latch bar on the underside of the hood had come loose and allowed the hood to raise up. Re-adjusted the latch and hood is flawless now....

Thanks guys. An ice cold beer sounds really good. Today, I got off a little early and went over to my dads. He wanted nothing to do with the “$1700 chi-chi boom” stereo that came in the 71 Chevelle he bought last week, so I removed it for him. Now, I have to figure out if I want to install 2 amps and a high powered 10” subwoofer in my truck, or see what I can trade it for. I would like a FASS setup, injectors, or a new hitch.... I’m not really into blowing my ear drums out these days, unless it’s Skynyrd or Eric Church lol.
