How much better does it run with the stock injectors over the 7x10s? I've got 7x10s and I'm trying to get mine to run clean.. It should be easy with the turbo I have but I'm making very slow progress.
Did you have smoke issues on accelerating up hills after shifts with the 7x10s? (assuming you have a manual)

Couple of the injectors leaked when new and were replaced. A couple I just took out were obviously dribbling.

Well, today was interesting.
I met an old dude who came up to me in a parking lot as I was leaving my local powder coating company I'm having do a job for me. He said how much he loved my truck and he had the same one (1991). He sold it recently, as the "trans lines" rotted out. Silly reason to get rid of it, but whatever.
He claimed that "he couldn't kill the thing". Made me laugh....
So when I got back home, I checked my trans lines, disassembled the clips, scraped off as much old paint / rust / crud off of them as I could, then re-coated them with an epoxy rust paint I've been using on the frame. They weren't really badly rusted yet, but had a few spots of surface scale.
Anyone ever devise a better way of strapping the tubes together ? The idea that they're both sandwiched together without allowing them to be spaced causes "stuff" to sit in between, and that's where I found most of the rust. Stupid to strap them together and not let air pass between where they meet.
And...
My master cylinder is leaking AGAIN!.... Oh well. The bendix one lasted from April of 2012, so I guess I can't be that upset. I guess I just have to take into account for every 2 years I own this thing, I'll be replacing a master cylinder again.
New one will be here today.

Stupid Junk from China, shall we say.... I guess it's just a simple fact that anyone who's "out of their mind" and wants to drive an older vehicle (don't care what brand, make or model) is going to have to replace, then replace, then replace the same freaking parts over and over and over and over and over again !!!!
The seal on the reservoir cap failed...... I guess it's inevitable to have to redo and redo and redo everything on this truck every couple of years.
Everything made in china fails..... Everything.
I replaced this PS reservoir cap about 3 months ago. What happened ? Well, the seal that seals the cap to the reservoir swelled up and popped out of the cap. I couldn't believe that I lost all that PS Fluid out of a stinking cap that failed.
AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH !!!!
Time to go lease a new truck and trade them in every couple of years.
