Well the first gens were out in force tonight at Wahoo

Starting with my buddy Dan Meier in the 7500 street stock diesel class in his 93 he pulled 316.5 and tied for first til the Pulloff then went 295 and ended up 2nd out of 16 or so trucks :shock:

Then Travis Bennett pulled 261 for his first hook ever in the 7500 street stock diesel class, not to bad for his first time out, not sure where he placed

Then I pulled 291.5 in the 7500 2.6/Super Street class and finished 5th out of 19 trucks with my pile then hooked the 8300 class and ended up 7th with a pull of 253 8)

And I finally got to see Curts(captainchrysler) truck hook in person in the 3.0/open class and for stock sticks he fared very well pulling 247 in the 7500 and 261 in the 8300, not sure where he placed though

I'll have video up in the morning or whenever I drag my butt out of bed tomorow

 

Thanks Andrew, I had a good time down there. Even though I was a little intimidated by some of the competition in that open class. Can't wait to see the vid.

It was nice to see some 1st Gen's laying it down. The people really seem to like them.

You didn't do too bad yourself, considering it was a 2.6 class, and you had a H1 based turbo and 12mm ve. Gotta love the non-IC motors.

hey thanks for posting my vids!! My second hook in 8300 I pulled 271 something. not to bad for my first time ever and 1000 pounds under weight lol. All I know is that im hooked and I see hard earned cash being spent very quickly in the near future.

Yeah 1st gens are a crowd favorite around here. I was very pleased with my hooks, especialy my light hook 5th out of 19 healthy trucks and not one duramax or Powerjoke got me

Did you ever figure out where you placed Curt, That open class was mean a lot of 6 7 800hp trucks

No, when I got up there, they said the results had been turned in. They said to look in the paper.

I am pretty sure I was 5th of 6 in the light one. Probably dead last in the heavy.
