Well, Made my 1st hooks of the year last night and was very pleased with how my old Pile of junk ran. This was the 1st hook with the "big" governor spring and holy crap did it make a difference, I also made a few other small changes that helped the performance dramaticly. I finished 5th in both classes


stillsmokin, captainchrysler and Travis Bennet were also pulling in the class I was in. Travis seemed to be having tranny troubles but Jeff and Curt ran well also. I liked how tightly we were grouped in each class. In the light class me Jeff and Curt were all within about 10ft of each other and in the heavy class were within 4ft of each other.

We got video of all of our hooks except Me and Travis' heavy hooks as the camera batery went dead

Had a good time down there. Nice to go to a real deal truck pull, rather than playing 2nd fiddle to the tractors.

I think if it had been a little tighter track, us 3 could have been a little further up in the pack. The 1st gens were runnin' good.

What rpm did u run down the track? Still impressive how strong the non-I/C's are.

I don't have a tach but I would say every bit of 4000 I know it was on the governor at the middle of the track on my heavy hook.
