W T S Light is blinking

Please help this is driving me . When I start my truck I wait for the WTS light to go out and I can hear the relay cycle, which tells me the grid heaters are working, then it starts right up. I put it in gear and go then for some unknown reason the WTS light starts blinking and continues to blink the whole time I am driving and even when I park to let it cool down to shut off. Now here is the weird part, if stop at a light, stop sign or pretty much anywhere ALL my lights ; headlights, dash lights, parking lights, ect. that are on all dim as though the the grid heater is cycling. By dim what I mean is thay almost flash but they don't go off completely. It's hard to explain but it is realy starting to irritate me. I just want to get it fixed and find out if it is hurting anything. When I got the truck from my cousin he told me that it has done that as long as he could remember why he didn't get it fixed I don't know. Sorry Im so long winded but I wanted to giv as much info as possible.

Thanks Ryan

the sensor that trips that light is on the side of the intake. it is a simple temp sensor, i'm wondering if maybe it's got a short in it. if you unpug it, the light should blink all the time and the grids should not cycle. there are a few things you could do to test the dimmin light. for each large grid relay there are two small wires, unplug one from each, this will disable the grid. if the lights still dim you will know it's not the grids. as far as the sensor i would look into replacing it.

It's supposed to flash if the air temp sensor unplugged. Sounds like you have an open in the circuit somewhere.
