worth it or not?

PLEASE DO NOT TALK ABOUT PURCHASING PARTS!

now that i have that out of the way. there is a 6bt out of a 93dodge at the local salvage yard, IP gone turbo is there. there are 330k on the motor. the guy wants $500 for it, i want the 7mm head...
here is the question... could i break even or come close parting the rest of the motor out? yes or no would be great, just want your thoughts.

That block... your head.

Yes.

Just the block and stuff (timing cover in good shape??) maybe. If the timing cover is in good shape, you could tear it all down to JUST the block and ebay it for about 5ish.

JMHO though. FWIW

Not worth the trouble IMO. If you really want a 7mm head, PM me, I'll tell ya where to get a good one new, cheap, but I'm not talking about purchasing parts here.

If there's no pump it's not worth messing with - especially at 330k.
