VE pump problems....Help please.....
Okay so i dove into my brothers ve pump and i have it tore down to support ring and the two bolts that hold it on striped out on me for some stupid reason....now what do i do to get it apart?????
Never mind i finally got them one came out after i drove the next size bigger torx in it and the other one i knocked it loose with a chisel (with out touching the case or the support ring) now the question is where do i find two more screws like that??? Thanks for your help.
ALWAYS use PLENTY of anti-sieze on any threaded fastener that does not thread directly into the "wet" part of the pump.
The bolts are steel; the pump-case is aluminum; no anti-sieze is just asking for trouble.
A decent hardware store ?may? be able to fix you up with the screws.
If not, then McMaster-CARR should have something that will work.

alright so i have the pump back together found screws that would work and then i realized that when i was cleaning the afc housing i set the breather on the coffee table and i'm pretty sure my 2year old son took off with it....so my question is what can i use in its place if i don't find it?
also forgot to add when i was cleaning parts i came across this....should i replace it or will it be okay?? its the only one with a mark i can catch my finger nail on it....its one of the top delivery valves so i can swap it if i can find one....

I did not dis-assemble my delivery valves. So I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at. Is there any info in the sticky about the condition of the parts within the delivery valves, and when/if they should be replaced.
its the part closest to the lines, robbed a picture from the sticky. not even sure how the mark got on there as the inside is smooth.....also is there any aftermarket dv or where can i pick up some stock ones with out costing an arm and a leg....
