I'm going to order a FSM & motor manual. Does the motor manual include info on how to service the ve pump? I know a lot of you guys can rebuild those things and I'm wondering where you got the info. Other than the basics like changing oil etc., I usually have someone else work on my truck. Seems like If you want somthing done right you have to do it yourself and I hate being at the mercy of someone else.

Cummins considers the pump non-servicable.

 

So what your saying is there is no how to manual or info to be had for the ve.

 

Not from Cummins. Bosch is very tight with info, too.

There is a how-to floating around on the internet, as well as some parts diagrams.
