Where do I get a new pin for T. Linkage
On the top of the injector pump where the linkage attaches to a metal gizmo there is a spring that actually works the throttle via a pin sticking up between the ends of the spring. The problem is my pin is almost worn in two. Does anyone know where to get a new one or what the part number is?

You can take the linkage off and braze up the worn areas and then grind it down smooth or you will have to order the new linkage from a Bosch shop. I lucked out and found a used one at a local pump shop that they gave me for mine.

That lever is indexed on the pump shaft so take time to mark that or pay close attention to how it is on there if you remove it. I read somewhere that you can sleeve that pin with a piece of brake line, 3/16 if I remember correctly. Don't hold me to that though, CRS sometimes. That one looks new compared to mine, your on the right track dialing in the linkage etc. It will help in the end, all those little things added up contribute to usable power loss! I think they are 50-60 bucks, again CRS.

JKM you're right on the money!! Very good considering the jibberish in my description, but I am new to the 1st Gen. The brake line sleeve sounds like a good fix, I'll try that first. Seems to have a great amount of play between the spring ends anyway. Thanks guys!!

That brake line fix does sound like a good idea , I looked through the parts manual that Dave (Wannadiesel) sent me the other day for something else , and I will be darned if i can spot that pin in there , the whole arm configuration is just a hair different than whats in that picture.

The round pin you are referring to is on item: #72 CONTROL LEVER.
If it is the stop then it is on item: #304 CONTROL LEVER.
And both are Bosch items.
On mine the pin was worn down so I bushed it using a T&B electrical crimp barrel used for crimping ground wires in electrical boxes. You get about 50 of them for a few dollars at the hardware store.
I indexed my shaft with a scribe mark on both the shaft and control lever which was #4.

Anyone know why there is a difference?
