Cheapest place to get the updated 3rd gen steering linkage?

My 04 needs all new tie rods and I want to get the 08+ upgrade. I've been to two different Dodge dealers and they both said the TSB doesn't apply to my truck... (Dodge doesn't make my steering parts anymore and they quoted me roughly $850 for the new setup). Whereabouts can a guy get this setup without giving up a kidney for it? I read guys on here getting it for $250-300?? Where?. Kore has it for $500 but I'd thought I'd try local first.

I have the 08.5 set up on my 03, it was done when I bought the truck, just be aware if the tie rod is not sitting parallel to the steering arm, on a hard left or right turn the tie rod is well known to snap.
its easy to check and even easier to fix if it was installed wrong.

I'll try to find the post that had pics

Excellent pt. A "neutral" install is imperative. It appears that some alignment techs leave the tre cocked fore or aft after adjustment.

I want to build my front end with ballistic fab high steer parts. The OEM seem so tiny in comparison.

Half the problem is the weak tierod ends. Then its the ball joints and the steering gearbox. If you do any actual gravel road/off roading, its almost required stuff.
