Ford Cummins
This reminds me of a video I saw the other day where a guy had done a cummins swap into his 3/4 ton ford. It was a twin turboed p-pumped 12 valve and had somewhere right at 1000 hp. As you watch the video, he goes on to say at least THREE freakin times that "this cummins 5.9 liter is commonly found in the F-650 blah blah blah" Never said a word about how readily availiable they are in the dodge pickups. Kind of made me angry becuz I know he ripped that thing out of a dodge pickup and not a "Ford F-650"! Ok im done, just thought I'd rant a little bit
I agree with you guys. Unless you have a nice Furd pickup, or you can get a cheap one, and you have the wrench time, maybe you should just stick with the Dodge. A Dodge pickup is no more a piece of junk than a Ford.
i dont know if i had the coin i would love my 12v swapped into an 80's F350 (or newer F-350 4 full door super duty). I had an '85 F-250 and by far that has been my fav. truck, i have owned all the big three with my chev being #3, i loved that old 85 f-250. now dont get me wrong I like my dodge but would not have a 2nd gen if it did not have the 12v between the frame rails.

I agree. I liked the layout of the 92-97 F250/350s. I grew up with Fords, but fell in love with the CUmmins the first time I drove one, and had to have one. I'd like to find a good F250 4x4 with a blown 7.3 and swap in a good Cummins.

Its maddogs 350 4x4 Ford 12 v cummins
4RnrRick: The truck came with a gasser, then they took it out, and installed a PSD, they had huge injector problems, and the engine ate dirt, a bottle of ether almost wasnt enough for starting it up in the morning,
The driver said they had to warm the engine up on ether,
Also it took two people to start the truck, one at the air filter the other one starting in the cab...
And well you see what the 3rd motor under the hood is....
