yeah but to my knowledge nobody has gotten the two to work together without failure in dramatic fashion. What specifically breaks and why is unknown to me.

who thinks, larger passages in every place you can get them would help?

what about modifying the fuel control collar so it won't block the spill way?

opening up dv passages?

I've got some time now

If the spill port in the plunger is exposed, fuel isn't sent through the delivery valves, then to the injectors. It's spilled out in the case. It's how the governor "defuels."

That's been a problem with diesels since waayyy back when I was young.

I've heard of some of the old Macks sucking oil out of the pan past the rings and taking off .....Only way to stop them was to put it in 5th, let out on the clutch and climb on the binders with both feet. IF it happened while you were on the road ----- bend over and kiss your behind goodbye ...Only thing that would stop them was a VERY LARGE tree or a concrete bridge support.

Is there any significance to it being a 205? And where does one look to find these elusive secret code #`s?

92Smokin and BC847.

Things to do/think about in the VE. The vane pump can have more/bigger vanes. The inlet passages and return passages can be enlarged and the return regulated by a outside regulator thus giving you greater control over internal pressures and return flow (ie cooling factor...) Also, if you can find a way to make a larger delivery valve holder thus creating more flow through the delivery valves (also aftermarket support of adding this and creating different delivery valves).

If you can create a high FLOW of fuel (in and out to cool), with the pressures at reasonable levels, coupled with a few extra pumps, I really think a 14mm H&R with a 3.2-3.7mm cam lift will be able to spin 4k rpms.
