Question Advanced VE Pump

Well I just advanced the pump timing just a few minutes ago. About to take her for a test drive. Before the advance I was getting 16mpg and somewhat unhappy power. I would hit little over 28 psi of boost going up the hill at WOT with a max speed of 70 in overdrive.

Let ya'll know in a little bit how things go

Expect the boost to be down a little as you'll be using more of the fuel's heat to push the piston instead of the turbine. That will be shown as an increase in engine coolant temperatures. The engine should be a little stronger at the top-end of the RPM range. That will come at the expense of a little lower RPM torque.

You'll see . . .

Yep that was what I experienced. However the coolant temp stayed the same. Boost was lower at cruise and I was able to pull the hills at 70 mph with no problem. 12psi at 70 going up hill and little bit of gas peddle. So far haven't filled up tank to see milage. I'm not sure what the stock position was cus no timing mark on original pump or housing. I'll have to get adapt for pump so I can check it. But like so far
