bought another 1st gen- 13 or 14?

picked this one up for a grand. bone stock , a/t. all power options. 93. one of the last built i guess. build date early 93. owner maintianed it very well. over 200k but engine in excellent shape. (already tore down for p-pump build). ive lost track of how many ive parted out- 3 this winter . the nice ones ive bought i couldnt afford to keep so i sold them. towing them is a treat in my cummins powered ford- pulling 5-6 % grades at 6000 ft i can easily hold 70 mph with my current set-up.

were kind of lucky around here- lots of trucks and cummins powered trucks. i usually still go to salt lake or provo area to get them. 80-100 miles away.

lol you'd NEVER find a first gen diesel for that cheap around here. Not even 2 times that. Infact, the only time you "might" see one for less than 2500 is because it has a blown engine lol

nice pickup though [thumbsup]

yeah i could use something just like that but 4x4... i think i may just jump into the ramcharger cummins and i'll b happy for awhile. I really like my 91 and want to keep it, but i have a few friends who keep offering me $$$ and considering all the vehicles i have i need to get rid of something SOON. Thing is, that once somebody re-powers a vehicle with a cummins... they KEEP IT!! go figure, once you make the something that you want you never let it go.

Back to your thread...Its very clean looking, hows the rust? Are you looking to keep or flip/part out trucks?

The new find is a great deal, but **** I want your Ford. That's exactly what I hope to do once the body falls apart on my D350. Late 70s classic Ford iron with a Cummins.
