I just did the piston pump upgrade in my93 I had my afc diaphragm off and fuel pump out with it open to have wd40 in it to loosen the cross pin. When I used lift pump to bleed air I noticed bubbles in the afc come out is that a bad thing or not?

Did the small pin pop too far into the afc housing? It most likely might with the main fuel pin out. I would put the fuel pin back in place and watch for more bubbles, if it does leak then you probably need a new O0ring on that small pin.
