Which housing: 12, 14, 16, 18 , would work the best?

You have one AWSOME truck!!!! Its the best truck with the best diesel.

For housings, it all depends on your plans with the truck.

For towing and only mild tweeks on the pump the 12 would be nice. The 14 would be a close second and be a little safer with EGT's.

If you get aftermarket injectors the 16 would scream, though you COULD have high EGT's under heavy throttle. The 18 I say no way. Boost lag...........

If it were me I would go with the 16cm and get POD's. Big power in a safe package. You do have an intercooler right?

I have the 16cm with the stage 3 system-but I think Dave and some others are using a 14-so I guess its what your application is for its use!

i have one but havent installed it yet. tranny has to go in first it will be big enough to cool my engine, well it should if it would keep a freightliner cool. and im am rethinking the 12 cuz i really dont need to add more abuse to the truck, it already has me as the driver. and with the PODs where would i get them and what sizes? never looked into that before.

I believe HTT says no smaller than a 16...at least for towing applications.
