hey welcome to DTR. i don't have the stock radio in the truck anymore, but it is in the garage. i took a look at it and seem to remember having the radio off so just the clock is showing and hold the set button until the clock blinks? or maybe it was in and clock was showing. pretty sure you just have to hold the set button for several seconds. anyways, hopefully i am right. if not i am sure someone will come along soon with the correct way.

I seem to remember to hit the P button, then when the clock #'s flash turn the volume to change the #'s, then I just shut the radio off and it remembers. I think that is how it works.

On mine, the factory radio/cassette player has two buttons to the right of the display. The top one is marked "H" and the lower one is marked "M". I use a ball point pin or nail to push the buttons because they are small and recessed. No other action is required.

Some of the old stock radios had a "clock" or "clk" button that you would hold down until the clock started flashing. then you would use the tuner **** to change the time.

With the radio on and the clock displayed:
Press SET, the display will say "P"
Press SEL and the hour will be displayed, rotate the tuner **** to change
Press SEL again to do the minutes
Press SEL again to finish

I found a LAZY way of doing it but it only works once a day. At 11:59 am I pop off a battery terminal & at noon I put it back on! Works every time.

If you have the owners manual for your year, it will show you how step by step. It also depends on whick radio you have. They all STOCK radios.
AM, AM/FM, AM/FM/CASSETTE, and they are different...

Greetings Seth, welcome to DTR.

As you may have noticed we have a lot of information here. If you respond to a 10 year old thread, we may poke a little fun at you, but it's all just fun.

What truck do you drive? What mods? Tell us about it. Put a description in your signature (go to user cp) so it follows you around here.

Go to Crutchfield, get new radio for less than $100, install new radio, follow directions with radio to set clock..... you will not be disappointed.

Congrats on the new ride.
