Turned up pump more...have a few questions??
I put another 1 1/4 turns on the full power screw (2 1/4 total) and everything seems to be ok. When i stab the throttle, it immediately settles back down, but the questions that I have is that when I do that, it seems to go below the set low idle for a split second, and then jumps right back to idle. I went for a quick ride and everything seems fine (other than the wicked grin on my face )

As long as it's not wanting to "take off" when you hit a certain RPM, or "hang" when you shift at high RPM it is OK. Mine wanted to take off when I hit 2k, but would drop right down to idle if I released the pedal. I remember Monty posting that his was fine at low RPM, but a high RPM declutch to shift left the engine hanging around at the top end.
What's your idle set to? They do tend to droop on recovery if the idle is set low.

I'll try setting the idle up a little like wanna said and see if that cures it. I hate having to wait an extra second or two to engage the next gear

I'm not sure what the idle is set at (no tach) I lowered the idle a little bit because it did it at a higher idle setting as well. I have it at the same idle I did before I turned the screw. It doesn't hang at high RPM when I shift, but the throttle does seem a lot jumpier now...like when I hit the pedal it jumps more than before. Is it the extra fuel that is being added? Any way to check idle speed without a tach?

Just turn the idle up a bit and see how it reacts. I like a low idle (about 700) and I have to drive around it at times because it will drop a bit low when I depress the clutch. The throttle will seem a bit jumpier (sp?) because the fuel screw essentially changes the geometry of the governor mechanism.

Keep an eye on your EGTs, and boost, when i turned my fuel screw up, all the way,,, I started to hit 45 lbs boost, the egt it 1500 as well pretty easy,
I read your mods, and you have the same stock turbo and injectors i have, I have been informed by the great guys here that your baby H1C is not made for high boost,, I bumped my timing anout 1/8" and it dropped my boost to about 32 lbs, trying to keep the baby H1C for a bit,
Peter.

Right now I am hitting about 31lbs full boost and 1200* on the pyro WOT in 5th, haven't been able to make it go any higher in any gear or road condition (hill etc.). Not quite sure where to go from here. New full pin or turbo mods?

Sounds like you've got optimum tuning for your current combo. Adding more fule will put you over 1200*, meaning you'll have to start watching the pyro instead of the road like the rest of us. A turbo upgrade would buy you some headroom for more fuel...a fuel pin would put you over the edge.

On mine, when you accelerate, push the clutch in and shift at say 2400 etc, the engine takes just a little longer to come back down to a normal in between shift RPM. I find myself in between shifts, waiting for the RPM to drop down before I put it into gear.
I have it set now to where it will not do this unless I go just a little bit further in with the screw.
