I am sure my temp problem was a bad convertor now. I tookl the trans out friday night and it took us about three hours from the time I shut it off till we got it out. We took a dinner break and a few beer breaks and when we got it out the convertor was still too hot to touch. That should not be that hot for that long should it? I wanted to hit it with my temp gun but it was in the truck that was up on the lift and I was too lazy to let it down.

Also, how does installation of the lines go - can I just disconnect that little factory one? Can I leave it in for a little extra cooling? Are barbed fittings and hose acceptable?
