Trans oil temp switch help!

I am in the process of wiring up my Issapro trans gauge. I decide to remove the factory transmission oil temp switch, and put the Issapro probe in it's place. Can I just zip tie the factory plastic female trans temp switch connector out of the way, with no issues?

I was going to run a NPT brass T; and run both the factory temp switch, and the Issapro probe. However; my trans line is angled to close to the trans pan. I would of had to grind a little off my B&M aluminum pan, to make the T fitting fit. I just wimped out; and went with the single Issapro probe.

Dave,
How do I go about doing that? I would assume you mean to run a jumper wire from one hole to the other, on the trans temp switch female electrical plug?

Yes a jumper wire from one wire to the other wire, or you can just leave the temp switch plugged into the harness and zip tie it up out of the way. Thats what I did.

apwatson50 & Caver Dave,
Thanks for that info! I will just plug the switch in and zip tie it out of the way, as mentioned!
