A breaker and a fuse do the same job, but a breaker can be reset, whereas a fuse has to be replaced...Disregard any hidden meaning in my smileys, it's a habit......Ben

Thanks, I figured that. I have some basic understanding of electrical stuff, but I worry a bit about some unforeseen failure out in the middle of Fort Stinking Desert on my way home. It was my last big fuse, so I will see what they have tomorrow in Hermosillo. I am normally like an old stable horse, I get pointed towards home and I don't want to stop...Mark

What a nightmare. I got it all wired, hooked the truck up after I had tested both sides and are working well. Well I learned a valuable lesson, when I connected the trailer, I got nothing. I pull out the connector and test both sides, all good. I spent the next 2 hours trying to file or sand the trailer side to try to get enough of the incredibly tough rust out so that I can leave tonight. I sure wish that I would have bought a new trailer side connector before I came down. Lesson learned, the rust here in Kino is so bad that cardboard rusts ...Mark

Sounds like yet another good reason to avoid Mexico for me, Mexican rust wanting to sneak onboard and come home with me...Come to think of it, it's a good reason to avoid everything from Illinois to Maine......Ben
