Tire Question

I found a pretty good deal on some BFG commercial T/A tires. Any opinions on these? Any other recommended tires to look at? I'm trying to keep this under 500.00 out the door. The truck is a 1993 W250 club cab and the tire size is 235/85 R-16.

i've never used that tire but they sure do boast about it in their catalogs. and if you found them for under $500 set of 4 that sounds pretty sweet to me. i recently bought "american prospector A/T" in 235/85 they'd have been $103 mounted with lifetime balance and all that. i've been happy so far but only have about 6-8K on them.

I found 2 places one is about 500.00 and the other is 470.00. I have to get exact prices but it seems like a good tire for the price I want to pay. I really just need a balancer and I would do it myself since I have the changer. problem is it cost just as much if not more to just get them balanced rather than the whole mount balance and install. The one guy said like 15 times he will beat any price. So I might take that and run
