Well took the old girl on a camping trip last week [oh the wife and dog too]. Over to the breath taking Olympic National Forest in Washington State. Went to check the the jazz festival in Port Angles and some sight seeing /camping.Got great fuel milage and hauled the camper much easier than befor ,my camper is 10 foot long and over 3000lbs loaded up.The real test was the pull up Hurricane Ridge .A 17 mile pull sea level to over 1 mile into the the snow/icecaps. At about the 7 mile mark the grade steepins and the curves start , in 3rd my pyro was at 1050 , speedo at 40miles , tach at 2000 , boost at 15 , however temp gauge was rising. Dropped to 2nd - pryo when to 900 ,speed to 30 , tach at 2000 , boost at 7 , temp normal. Pulled the last 8 miles with lots of pedal to play with, and a big grin. If you are in the state there are 4 differant areas to the the park . Well worth the 15 bucks for a 1 week pass. Oh ya 20 miles west of Port Angles in the same park is the Sol duc hot springs 105 degree pools. Oh and deisel in the area is $305 gal
