Yeah that's a little cold to be messing with it....One drawback of doing this mod, just so u know, it will give you a stiffer throttle. I play drums for a hobby, so it gives my kick drum leg a workout.....LOL

Use a weaker throttle return spring then.

I was thinking it was because i changed the fulcrum point, giving it less leverage. but maybe i'll try that... Thanks wanna. Interested in doing another KDP?

Oh, that's exactly why it's harder, you have less leverage now and the spring has more leverage. That's why my stock return spring is in the ashtray.

I will look for a new (weaker) spring tomorrow. It's not too bad, but sometimes i notice a little ache going on...LOL
