throttle linkage

throttle linkage

where can I buy the ball lock for the ends of the throttle linkage? The local cummins shop don't have them,nor the part stores including napa. Thanks,

dodge has them also. Just picked up the whole assembly for 36 bucks or so

napa sells heim joints, so does motion, combined with 1/4" ready rod and it makes for a way tighter setup than the original plastic dodge garbage.

Here is how I fixed mine; I replaced the plastic ones using steel Heim joints I got from my local Specialty Fastener supply.

I got both the Left and Right hand thread so I could use my factory threaded rod, All of the hardware is metric.

If you look you can see a groove around the end of the threaded portion of the right side joint, this signifies it has the left hand thread.

With this setup there is ZERO slack in my throttle.

A drop of oil on the joints ocasionally keeps everything running smoothe.
