nevermind, please delete (brake booster question)

edit, I found my answer online. The booster is suppose to come with the rod.

I picked up a booster and master from the local auto parts here, and the booster does not have the 6 or 8 inch rod coming out of it that the brake pedal attaches to.

I figured I could reuse my old one,but I cant serperate it for the original booster.

So is my rebuilt booster suppose to have a lever coming out of it for my brake pedal to attach to?

The rod will seperate from the booster. It's got a groove around it with a rubber bushing. It's a press fit. Did the booster come with a small plastic bag containing the new rubber bushing?

It's a bit tough..but it is a removable part.
