Yes, we are free because of the brave!!!

Thank you to all past, present and future military personnel!!!

Make sure we all walk up and shake hands with a veteran.

Everyday should be Veteran's Day.

Yes sir, my undying gratitude to them all.

Also heard the last of the 29 Navajo code talkers died this morning. Mr. Chester Nez. God Bless you Mr. Nez and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

edit: oops, he died in June.

I'm amazed at the judgemental spirit around here.

English lesson:

Severed
.... cut off, as in losing a limb.
Served...... the word that was intended I'm sure.

just having a little fun.

John why are you getting increasingly condescending? the words in YOUR English lesson didn't exist in your previous comment!!

Let me diagram it for you.

TC meant to say "thank you to all who have served.......

Typo prevailed, and it came out "Thank you for all who have severed.....

I'm sorry if you miss the humor, albeit a bit macabre, but my comment was meant to add a bit of levity, which I guess is a sin in your mind, to the unfortunate mispelling.

Calling me a Communist for going over your head or offending your sensitivity is way over the top in my opinion. I too have severed, and am dealing this day with a 50 year old Viet Nam era back injury suffered while serving in the United States Navy.
