As a previous servicemember myself, I would like to say thank you to all who say little things like that. That was what I liked the most about serving, was the signs of support and the words of incouragement. I urge everyone, anytime you see a man/woman in uniform, approach them and say thank you. It means alot no matter how much you hear it.

Retired AF MSgt here - thanks. Reminds me of when I bought the truck off a reserve KC-135 pilot out at Tinker AFB, OK last year. His real job is raising cattle on the family ranch. I'm sure he's been called up too much to make good at that lately. Had a little one due in a few months, needed the money.

Some of you might recall the exhorbitant amount I paid. Felt really good about it. Last thing I told him was "thanks for the truck, and thanks for your service to our country." I'd have glady paid even more after talking with him for awhile that day.

Same here. To the men and women who have died protecting my freedom, and also to all veterans and those currently serving, I offer up a very sincere THANK YOU for all that you have done. May God bless all of you.

A cold frosty one is raised to salute all those hero's who have gone before me. We wouldn't be doing what we are doing at this very minute if not for your sacrifices.

YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN IN THIS HOUSE !!
