I'd rather have a pressure gauge after the filter to monitor filter condition and fuel delivery. All that will tell you on a stock Dodge fuel system is whether or not the tank pickup is restricted. The only reason to use one of those gauges is to monitor a pre lift pump filter (like a Racor).

Could it be plumbed into the intake hose after the filter & before the turbo to monitor the air filter?

Since that gauge is for a fuel filter I imagine it's calibrated in inches of mercury. Air filter restriction is measured in inches of water.

Translation - it'll barely move with a clogged air filter.

I second that, I had a air filter guage on my bigtruck to measure the restriction, and its in inches of water.

I hope you have not thrown this gauge away yet, I remember seeing it somewhere before.

I am sorry to inform you but you have the cheaper one that only cost $75.00

Looks like you can get a nice head to fit this gauge for $295.00

I was thumbing through the West Marine catalog last night and saw the same listed for almost $100. The marine application also had a vacuum minder too, just like for air.

Yes why not plum it into the vacuum pump line if it reads vacuum and mount it somewhere on the dash. It will look impressive if you like the looks of lots of gauges.......
