Stupid question: Which side of clutch to flywheel?

One side of the clutch has the inner circle of springs and what-not sticking out. The other side has little windows showing part of the springs.

Which side should go towards the flywheel? It seems to seat just fine either way. The FSM says it should have 'to flywheel' stamped on one side, but of course the aftermarket clutches I have do not say anything of the sort.

Thanks!

Alrighty then!

I called the manufacturer and they assured me that the flat side always butts against the flywheel...otherwise the springs could hit the flywheel bolts. Makes sense..
