Stupid question of the day (so far)

How do I get the extended cab flipout windows open? I have never opened them, and it's getting friggin hot. Amazing, my windows were frozen shut on my truck a week ago, and nohw it's totally hot!

Pull the end of the latch closest to the headrest of your chairs' towards you. Then push it out towards the window. It's kind of cantilevered a bit, so you might have to jiggle it either way... doesn't it have the instructions in the owners manuel? I've never looked for this particular item.

I'll try that, thanks. I feel stupid, but I'm among friends.

I appreciate that. I know God is not capricious, but it is a little bit of just desserts for what I put my parents through, only I was 16 and broke my neck in two places, broke my jaw and smashed my knees. At least I was in a Mopar (1966 Plymouth Valiant). Folded it in half at 90 degrees.

Owww! And that's a whole lot of metal to be bending up! Of course, that WRX has all sorts of 'crash technology' designed into it that you didn't have back then, but even so... phew. Luckily young bones heal better and faster than old ones... Broken neck?! Dang. I guess if you're going to do something, get it right the first time?
I managed to walk away from all 3 accidents I've had. Once I tried parking a car inverted down a 30' drop in to a creek! Got out of there real fast when I started smelling leaking gasoline. It was eying up that nice hot exhaust pipe...
Actually, it was after that that I bought my old '92 Subaru Legacy GT! Way back when in a different country, seems like several lifetimes ago!

I am gonna try this. I am gonna get a couple of motors and latches from a early Grand Caravan and the control modules and put them on. No more turning around and pulling and stuff. Just push the switch until desired opening.

You could get a pet monkey and train him to do it!

I wrecked several cars. Head on with a dumptruck in my 1970 Cutlass Convertible, and tee'd a Hyunai with my '93 1st gen. I won that one. Those two were not my fault like the first one. My neck and back hurt every day, but I am used to it. It's only temporary anyway.
