Straight pipe exhaust for a '92
Straight pipe exhaust for a '92
Can you do this??
How much back pressure is required?
My muffler has just about had the bun and I'd like to just stick another piece of 3 1/2" exhaust in it's place.
*I live in the sticks and noise and emissions laws don't have any foothold here. We can do what we want*
Thanks for your replies!!!

Cut it off...been running that way for a few years now with no problems. Like Dennis said, back-pressure is a non-issue with these engines. As an added bonus, you'll pick up a few pounds of boost, a few HP, faster spool, and maybe a little more MPG. Plus it just sounds cool.
Yup I have straight 3" on mine. I'm into my whole exhaust for $40!! Original was toast, guy was parting a 92 1st gen, got all the exhaust pieces for that price...and the back half was brand new!!
