It looks kinda like I have 6x9's in the front doors and 4x10's in the rear corners by the jump-seats. I believe my D100 was set up like that. Does that sound right.... anyone....??

 

The door speakers in my 92 are 6x9's.

My '93 CC has 4X6's in the doors and 4X10's by the jump seats, unless I'm mistaken. If I remember right, that's also what Crutchfield's listed.

 

6x9's in the doors and I believe you are right about the back ones, but I think I measured them at 5"x something, ?? funny size Mine have gone south, but momma won't let me "fix" them. wanna add 400 watt amp and GOOD speakers all the way around. Us old people have a hard time hearing

 

6x9's in the doors were one of the first things I changed on my truck. As for the 4x10's in the back, they were disconnected and the jump seats removed. I then placed a 10" boxed subwoofer on each side in the back. They wedged right in on the side where the seats were and the little drop down section of the floor and the jump seats seatbelts hold them there perfectly so I didn't need to bolt them to anything. Then added a 260 watt amp bolted onto the back wall for loudness. Much Better Now.

 

I put 4 6x9 infinity speakers out of sebrings in mine, along with a sebring cd player. doesn't sound too bad. I have to make some little brackets to mount the 6x9's on the stock 4x10 rear mounts. the backs don't sound that great tho since they sit out in free space. I think they'd sound better if i boxed them in

 

I was looking at my 93 to put new speakers in the doors. I took the panel most of the way off and relized that you had to take the inside door hande off also??? Thats think looks really tuff to get back on. Getting it off would be easy. Then I looked at the speakers. Do they come straight out of the door or do you have to push them back in and tryi to pull them up from the middle of the door where the big hole is?<br>Thanks<br>DM01

 

Door handle isn't too bad. Speakers come through the big hole and not straight out the speaker panel.

 

ya, that handle is a handful lol. you have to get in there and hold it open so that you can get the bolt started again.

 

When I replaced my speakeers the door panels easily came off and the the door handle too. Bazooka 6x9's in the doors and Xplods 6x9's in boxes behind the seat.

 

just put some new pioneer 6x9's in the 93 alittle bit ago man its so nice to have music again!! ;D
