stacks

im looking into putting stacks on my truck and i was wondering on price and the location. i was thinking on putting them about strait up from the frame rails with miters or rain caps(i know they are hillbilly but so am i.) the outside edge of the bed is ok but it would be in the way of the lights in the headache rack. so some pics and advise would be wonderful

Look in my photo gallery, I've got a differant year model but the setup is pretty much the same for all years. Wish I had some shots of under the cab, it would help alot.

How loud are the stacks right behind your head? I like the way they look, but I dont want constant drone on the highway.

Mine is an ext. cab, so they aren't exactly right behind my head, but I personally don't think they are to loud.

I have some pic's. in my gallery of the stack's that I built for mine. Ive got less than 300 buck's into mine. Dont mind the noise at all. You dont really need dimensions or anything to build them, just build it the way you want to.

the only time you can hear a drone on mine is with the rear window open. other that that... Im savin for parts for a full 4in exhaust. then in gonna get rid of my box splitter and use 5in pipe to split.
