Speedo quit,any Ideas?

Speedo quit,any Ideas?

Speedo started to decline on the way home from work,it slowly started loosing ground,then died,it tried a few more times,but now lays dead at 0 MPH,any Ideas?thanx

The speed sensor (or conection) located on the tail housing of the trany is most likley the problem check by removing the plug in on the sensor to see if it's leaking trany fluid leaking out of it. If it is replace the sensor and it will come w/ a newer style plug in.
If it isn't leaking I'd use a contact cleaner on the plug in and see if that doesn't solve the problem.
