Well they do add an additional 1". The bad part is they are gasser springs so I dont know how long they will last. I called skyjacker and asked them why the part numbers didnt match what I ordered. They told me that they are the same springs as the gasser. They might be 3" springs on a gasser, but they only give the diesel 1". I have had them on for about a year and so far they are holding up with no problems. There might be a price difference so I would check with skyjacker between the gasser and diesel springs. I thought when I bought them they were for a diesel, but then when I got them it said gas on the springs???? Just something you might want to check.

On the plus side they do ride a bit better than the stock ones.
