Skyjacker front springs, good or bad?
I've seen mixed reveiws on Skyjacker and I want to know what you guys thing. I need to get a set of 4" springs for the front. Here is a pic of the truck with just the rear lifted. Kind of got that sled puller look to it.
I know everyone has their opinion on skyjacker springs; I put 2 1/2" lift springs on my '93 and put 4" lift springs on my 91. Both sets have made the ride on each truck a little easier on the kidneys and after 1 year have not sagged at all. Other people have had horror stories with them. I was just lucky I guess.
i have 2" leveling skyjacker springs in the front and 6" block delete springs in the back. in 10 years the only thing that has broken, is the front spring eye bolt in the front that came with the kit from hittng an irrigation ditch at a high rate of speed. HIGHLY recomended for ride comfort.
i had skyjacker 6 lift on my 97 on 38s whne off road evyr week for a good year in WY and never had a problem and i have them on my 05 dually with a road armor bumper and still no sag or problems i recomend SKYJACKER

I have the front 2 1/2" (leveling) diesel springs. Mine have been on since 2006. The ride is significantly better, that being said mine sagged within a year. They are not as low as the factory springs I replaced but they are certainly not where they were when I installed them...
Overall I would recommend them for the ride improvement if you are not too concerned about the lift. If you were after the lift I have heard going with the 4" is way, they ride well and they get the truck level, unloaded of course...

I have two V-8 Dodges a '85 crew and '72 stepside with Skyjacker 6 inch lift springs front and back.
The '72 has been lifted since the winter of '99.
It has seen some VERY hard wheeling on its 38.5 x 15.5 Super Swampers.
The crew has been lifted for 4 years, and only sees light duty wheeling / camping / fishing / hunting trips. The crew runs 37 x 13.5 radial Dick Cepeks.
I cut both of the trucks front wheelwells to make the tires fit on 10 inch wide 15 inch rims.
I have seen the drivers side settle on both rigs to the tune of about 3/4 on the Crew and 1 inch on the Mudder more than the passenger side.
They ride great and I have had no problems with them other than the settling in the front

Not to steal this thread but what would the best route be to get my W350 cab and chassis back to factory height?
The front springs are pretty tired and figured to replace the rears while I'm at it.
Will the Slyjacker W350 kits work on a cab and chassis?
Would the 2" lift in front and say 6" in back without any blocks be a way to go?
Any input would be appreciated.
Jeff
