Well My ride is a year in now with the skyjacker springs on all 4 corners
I weight a Cough cough Skinny 300 LB All Muscle of course..... Anyways mine has dropped a bit .... about an inch on drivers side of course The ride did improve a bit so did handling will i buy another sky jacker kit ???? yep Just make **** sure when you receive the parts do a inspection Just fyi I did a 4 inch new springs all the way round

Surprisingly I Just pulled home this
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...e-t270264.html
I Did load with the drop hitch high trying to use more of the trailer than the truck but even so was very surprised at how well the springs took the weight
in the link the trailer jack is down but not taking any weight the only thing i will do is make up a rear sway bar It really needs one or a ladder bars I do get spring wrap and a twitch under acceleration

Not to steal the thread but guys I have been on the fence about buying skyjacker front springs for my dually. I want it to sit level. I am wanting about 2" if lift in the front. I am thinking about skyjacker#D200S but reading what you guys wrote that if I want actual 2" I should go with a #D400CS do to the spring settling down! I dont want to spend that amount of money and then the truck sit the same as it is now! Thanks

Did you make them yourself or buy them from a business? They look nice!

That's pretty much the delema I'm in. Do I go with the 2" kit D200CDAK with the front springs and rear add a leaf, or go with a 2" kit with new springs on both ends?
I've heard that it's not a good practice to go with the 6" rear springs and no block.
All I would like is the stock ride height back.

Mine has the softride springs on it. They haven't had a problem. It held 18k behind her. I would rather have springs than blocks and longer ubolts.

What if one went with 6" rear springs and a 2-3" block? But then you'd probably have to get a 4" kit for the front to have it sit level. I'm also debating whether I should get the rear springs and remove the blocks totally or just keep them. I want to put a 4" lift on, but would like to try to remove the 6" rear blocks to go to a more stable ride with a shorter block.

John;

Just what I saw posted else where, which doesn't mean it's right. It seems to me that getting rid of the blocks would be good.
So what springs did you use on the front? Did you go for a stock height or a little lift?

Jeff

For raising up the front how about something like this. The front drop hanger is made in 1" drop, 2" drop, 4" drop & 5" drop. They are supplied with matching shackles to keep the steering geometry the same. The last 2 pics is the front spring rear frame HD bushing repair kit to git rid of the wimpy OEM bushings & carry the weight of the CTD.
