Silverado bucket seats?

Has anybody mounted Silverado bucket seats in a 1st gen? I picked up some seats out of a 2000 Silverado. The bench seat was just to uncomfortable.

They should fit. You'll have to make custom brackets most likely. Its best to use the factory hard points that are welded in. If you drill a hole in a single layer of sheet metal and bolt the seat down expect the seat to tear out in an accident.

They used to say Keep Your GM Car All GM...So what's wrong with you?

...now, if I can just get these Supra seats to bolt into my 06....LOL

When I still had my 91 I found the seat position much more comfortable after installing the bench on some 2" square box-section risers...took a lot of stress off the left shoulder. The seat was too low in relation to the armrest.

I had an 07 Silverado 1500WT classic. Left-over 06, basically. Those seats were a killer on my upper back, hope you have better luck.
