Transplant Seats from Chevy Silverado to a '92?

I rode with a friend in a brand new 2008 Chervy Silverado. ****, those seats feel good. They fit really well, much better than the bench seat, anyway. My back is giving me fits and those seem to provide nice lumbar support.

Has anyone ever transplanted a set of front seats from one of these into a Dodge? Anything I should look out for? Seems like I could just weld' em in or bolt them down.

Where could you buy seats at for a 2008 silverado? Its brand new. you would have to find one wrecked i think. And if you could buy the seats from a chevy dealer i bet they would be expensive

There will be one in the bone yard soon enough. I have my eye out.

The other option is to put an air-ride seat in there... plenty of semis in the junk shop... I have been thinking about doing this if it would fit... rig up a little air compressor in the back along the frame somewhere as well as a little tank (get one of those air compressors that they use for nail guns, borrow its tanks) along the frame... then adding an air horn wouldn't be any sweat. Ah, but its alot of work just to have a seat and a horn... not to mention cash.
