shift tower for getrag

shift tower for getrag

i just bought a '89 with a getrag and it needs a shift tower where can i find one

What does it need. You can find the forks on ebay or from a memeber here, or from vendors.

i think it needs a shift tower because the shifter is really sloppy

You mean the top cover right....

The "shift tower" is part of the top cover of the trans which has all the forks/fingers .

Have you pulled off the boots to see if your slop is where the shifter screws onto the shifter stub.
