I dont know if it comes with a new tower or not, but you might could look into a short shifter from BD.

Why not put the replacement responsibility onto the idiot who put in the clutch?

If you paid a shop to do it, then THEY are responcible for the new tower. If your best friends' brothers' cousin, who knows a "guy" that has a father-in-law that did a clutch on his hot rod in the 40's did your clutch............well then you will need to find a replacement.

Why don't you just have it welded?

We do that sort of thing regularly.

i would have already welded it but its plastic. it looks like they lost one of the 4 bolts and pick one out of a trash pile and bolted it in and when they did it cracked the ear of the side. i cant believe its plastic!! anyone know where i can source one? besides quad 4x4?

If you can't find a replacement part, I've heard this stuff is pretty good for plastic repair: http://www.plastex.ca/

Take the plastic piece to a machine shop with a CNC milling machine and have one made from aluminum.
